Nyele is an exploration of fragments, traces and memory.
Images and materials are taken apart, shifted and brought together in new ways, creating something between the familiar and the unknown.. Familiar things can become unclear. Fragments can take on new meaning.
Working across photography, print and objects, the work takes different forms while returning to the same ideas.
Nyele is not about reconstructing what was there. It is about what remains.
